    PDF creator terminal services

Just wondering how and if people do this. Recently introduces thin clients and no luck yet. Historically used PDF creator via msi installed locally to all machines. An online one would be good without giving email addy.

A network printer with a virtual PDF driver is how we do it. The document is batch processed and then dropped in the user's home drive.

Is this on a TS. Where did you obtain the driver etc. Am i right in assuming that you are mapping printers by a script and the pdf creator is one of them.?

Samba server (Ubuntu) on the domain acting as a print server, using one of Windows' included HP printer Postscript drivers, then use Ghostscript to convert from PS to PDF, stuck together with a bit of scripting to dump PDFs back in a user-specific file share. Actually, you can make an entire print management system this way, complete with with page counting based on colour coverage and not having to install any prinmer drivers on any client machines.

You are probably already aware but Microsoft have an add in to the office suite allowing you to save as a PDF directly. It's good as it supports all fonts etc. So far so good. Thanks anyway chaps your help was much appreciated.
