    How could I find if a file exists on multiple computers?

    I am trying to install promissor via a script that calls an msi.

    It seems to have worked on most of my machines but not all

    Can anyone suggest a tool or script that I might find that would list my machines and let me know if the install folder exists?

    That way I could go to the stubborn machines and install manually and not look stupid on test day!

    Thanks

    This should work.

    Code:
    @echo off
    If exist c:\foldername echo %COMPUTERNAME% yes >> \\servername\share\list.txt
    If NOT exist c:\foldername echo %COMPUTERNAME% no >> \\servername\share\list.txt
    Save this as a .bat file and either run it as logon script or use psexec or similar to run it on a list of machines.
    That will create a list with the computer name followed by yes or no. leave out either one to either get a list of just machines with it or without it.

    Hope this helps,

    Dan
