    Play DVD in remote session

Does anyone know how to play a dvd in a remote session?

Recently implemented thin clients and having problems getting them to play content. I can see it but cannot play it. Trying to use VLC Player.

I have read there is an option to allow access to removable devices in GP.

    Any help would be great.

What remote technology are you using, you should be able to do this with Windows 7 or 2008 r2 terminal services as long as the client box supports RDP version 7. The older client versions have issues with full screen or even windowed video. Windows media player will also produce better results in these scenarios as it is optimized to allow for streamed playback.

If you are using the latest VMWare VDI stuff it should also handle it alright.
