    Ubuntu webserver - secure pages

    Hi Guys

I am looking at moving some of our hosted websites we have to ubuntu from windows.

quick question - our intranet runs on here - there is a staff secure area that uses windows credentials to allow you in or not.

Is there a way of doing this on apache?

    Thanks in advance

    Chris

There are quite a few options available to you here. Easiest way, if you don't wish to get into any php programming, and just want to use apache modules is to use a module like mod_ntlm ormod_authnz_ldap.

    Another good instruction site here
