Nope, shouldn't need that mcrypt for printmaster. Even though those permissions are on wwwroot; please check that the IIS user has write permissions (specifically, to be able to create files) on the session folder itself. That's the only issue that the error messages relate to, so is all I can think it is.

PrintMaster doesn't come with any security built-in. Use the functionality included with your web server (IP restrictions, Directory security - IIS: Authentication settings, Apache: htaccess/htpasswd etc) - but this is beyond the scope of what I can help with

Did you extract the downloaded zip file to a folder called 'printmaster'?

The zip file I extracted to c:\program files\apache group\apache2\htdocs, created an empty folder in htdocs with the name session. Imported printmaster.sql into heidisql, changed init.php to match database name and username password etc.

When you go to http://localhost/index.php, you should see the PrintMaster interface.

In that case, PHP is not installed correctly.

    Thanks for the reply

    I'll wait.

Best way to see if php is working mate

open notepad and type this in...... phpinfo()

and save the file has phpinfo.php

copy or save that in you webserver folder route

and go to Internet Explorer and type in localhost/phpinfo.php

If thats does not display a page of information php is not working correctlly

Best bet is to install php via the Microsoft Web Platform if your using a Windows Server, always seems to work doing it that way

Replace printmasteruser and printmasterdb with your own details, and obviously the path to the file as well.

    Code:
    mysql -u printmasteruser -p printmasterdb < /path/to/printmaster.sql
    Enter printmasteruser's password when prompted

  15. Thanks to webman from:

    Code:
ERROR 1044 (42000): Access denied for user 'printers'@'localhost' to database 'printers'
After I created the user and the database i did this:
