Does anyone know of a way to give pupils access to a course work grade via moodle or Sharepoint e.g. from sims CSV.

Moodle has a gradebook feature, which can import from CSV

    Grades - MoodleDocs
    Grade import - MoodleDocs

I would imagine you'll need to do some converting to get the sims CSV into the right format, but it's probably a common enough task that somebody has already written a converter or tutorial.
