    Backup exec Tape Media

    Sorry Brain Gone to Mush..

    But how do you make a tape allocated to a media set....

    as I have a daily backup called Daily .. that needs to go on a media set called "daily mon - thur"..

    Bought some new tapes but they dont work..

    How do I make the tapes a media set ?

    Stick tape in, wait for it to register, drag it from unassigned media (or similar) to media set already created I think. I'm pretty sure that's how it works in V 8.6 onwards.

    Sorry if it's wrong - just got back in from a rather serious curry session at my local Indian.
