Running MS Office 2003 initially set up from Virtual Disk V6. Now finding that post Office SP2 updates to most workstations they look for reinstall when users are trying to open documents. Ignoring the install request eventually brings the document up in the programme correctly.
Tried a repair but as it's looking for Pro11SP2 from the Virtual Disk and only Pro!! is there that fails.

21st January 2010, 01:03 PM #2 If you downlaod the full network install package for the service pak in question and then extract it using the /x or /extract (depends on version) command line switch it should result in the appropriate .msp file being put where you ask it to. You should then be able to put this where the system expects it to be and hopefully resolve the issue.
