The company that supplied the recycled toner cartridge doesn't take their own cartridges back?

    Change cartridge supplier.

    The three we've tried do.

I realise this doesn't help you much with getting rid of the ones you already have; maybe you could contact your local authority to see if they have any clues.

try money2school. It's brilliant they take mostly everything for free and you get money!!! It's what we use anyway.

we use Be Green and benefit with Lasertech - Printer Cartridges and Office Products - Lasertech Group
could do pretty well if you can get kids/teachers to bring empty inkjet cartridges

I was looking into this the other day. Hadn't occurred to me to try the company that supply them - I'll give that a try. Found various organisations like:

    http://www.greenagenda.co.uk/

...who seem to arrange free collection as long as you have a certain number (eg 10) and they're well packed.

    Hi

We use a company called 'Environment Business Products Ltd' their phone number is 0800 435576.
They give you boxes to put your used toner cartridges in, collect them and donate a small amount to your nominated charity all for FREE!!

We've used them for about 2years now and found them very reliable.

We used to use lasertech, however their prices were (as of 6 months ago) shockingly high and in some instances we were getting OEM prices on the same level as their compat prices.

I wont knock them for customer service - seeing the person who runs your area regularly was a bonus, and any problems would be dealt with without quibble, but we couldn't justify using them any longer with their high prices, and they (understandbly) only collect OEM/their brand.

we use a company called Reclaim IT - they collect for free a day or two after i call them and supply a large cardboard box for collection of toners.

They are a charity/not for proffit organisation so costs us nothing and proceeds, presumably from a recycling of the toner scheme, go to a charity they asked me to choose when i set up our account, i chose a charity that benefits kids, us being an educational establishment and all.
