    Setting up online booking system

    Hi everyone

    Hoping someone can lend a hand with this, I am hoping to set up an online booking system to allow our staff to booking computer rooms as well as other rooms around the school.

    Can anyone help me with the steps I need to run through to set this up i understand i need to use something like wamp and I will really be teaching myself this as i run through everything. I was hoping to use this this system so that I could provide a link in our schools website which is hosted elsewhere to this booking system if that is possible this way i can control that only staff log onto this to book rooms.

    Any help with this will be very much appreciated.

    @Aaron:

    CRBS good choice as it works well and can be altered by yourself with a little know how plus it is totally free and supported by "webman" I do think approx 1000 for a medium school is a little steep myself for something like this.

    Hi Guys thank you for the reply

    We have run into the problem in our school that the internet service is provided by another company to all schools in N.Ireland and i cant get access to our legacy side because its is said its a security risk.

    I am looking into us getting are own internet and use this only for hosting the booking system this would solve alot of problems.

    If you have Exchange 2007 or 2010 there is a feature built in that allows you to do room or resource bookings as well:
    You Had Me At EHLO... : Resource scheduling in Exchange Server 2007
    Using Exchange 2007 for Resource Booking

    This allows you to integrate room/equipment booking into Outlook and have it avalible through Outlook Webmail so if you have either of these versions of Exchange this could be another option to consider.
