    Storage Craft ShadowProtect

Only found a couple of small references to this here so thought Id start a proper thread. Was at a training session today with them to learn how to use this properly - we only use it at the moment for booting from the CD and making / putting images onto individual machines.

The server edition today was pretty amazing. Redefines the ideas of backup, it backs up the whole server sector by sector, allowing for complete recovery in about 15 mins. Also, it can run every 15 mins incremental backup so you're only always 15 mins max of data loss.

This company actually made / own the technology that VMware use in their Disk -> Virtual machine tool.

Its worth a look.. I think Im gonna recommend we switch to it for complete backup purposes.

Server Backup, Data and Disaster Recovery - Never lose more than 15 minutes of data again. World leading solution by StorageCraft.
