    Two questions I think...

1). Do you use an inhouse Wiki at school/college/uni

2). If you do, which one?

    Yes

Dokuwiki http://www.splitbrain.org/projects/dokuwiki - simple and uses plain text files instead of a database.

    Re: Wiki

We use Moodle as our VLE. If anything requires wikifying we just use Moodles Wiki module.

Prime example of this would be all our technical documentation. We have a course setup on Moodle for the network manager/techies. Where we can add stuff. This includes a few wiki bits.

    Re: Wiki

Probably best. We upgraded as soon as 1.6 went stable. Although I've recently put 1.6.2 (a security update).

We also have a development machine that's tracking 1.7.x as it develops.

    Re: Wiki

If you are looking at WiKis, take a look at TiddlyWiki, which is quite a clever thing. There is a version which will run on a server called MyWiKi.

I'm using Tiddlywiki to document all our technical procedures. It's easy to use in it's basic form, but can be developed to be quite a sophicated system. There is now a server side version suitable for Websites. TiddlyWeb
