mitsubishi air conditioner- turn on with power

    Hi All

Slightly random one, but the air con in the server room won't come back on after power is restored following a power cut. I.e. a power cut on Friday night leads to sub tropical temperatures on Monday.

Unfortunately it doesn't have any documentation AFAIK (my predecessor didn't leave any docs let alone something like this) but the control panel has a few button featuring times etc that might be useful.

It's a Mitsubishi but I don't know any more than that (sorry, not helpful I know).

Does anyone have any ideas of how I can get it to come on after a power cut? Or any other kind of docs?

    Thanks very much

    Phil

Is it a Mr. Slim unit? I've done the very same thing to ours after the installer left it on the option to stay off when power returns.

It's a pain to do but if yours is a Mr Slim I can point out the section in the installer instructions needed to change it to power on again 5 minutes after power is restored. You do have to be careful as you can change things like voltage if you choose the wrong settings

OK, I have taken the filter cover off and the number is: PLA.P1.6KA

Google seems to bring up some polish docs....

Hopefully it's the same as the other PLA units, although I can't find much for the PLA-P series.

6.3 tells you how to change the function settings, for mine it was function 00, mode 01, changing it from a 1 to 2.
