I've got some BD-R discs that I am trying to burn onto but the software I am using is having none of it. I've tried four applications and none of them work. Using a BD-RE disc I can burn fine so I know it's not the drive or the software.
Is there something that I need to do to prepare the discs or are these discs just totally rubbish?
Getting quite frustrated. This was meant to be a quick job!

Going to try a firmware upgrade next week.

Wasn't this the same with early DVD writers as well? They were fussy about what disks they used?

i know that when you burn xbox games you have to use a compatible DVD/Rw lol!
anyway....
Yeah, i remember this was the same with early dvd writers, the top disc's tend to work ok.. its when you go and buy the really really cheap ones you tend to fall into problems.
what software you using/have tried?
James.
