If for instance you have an infamous "Educational" resources cdrom, which requires flash player, then you will install both applications at the same time when sequencing.

The above is the dependency for office in our sims.net osd file.

Never seen Thin App - is it the same as App-v but with vmware instead?
Any good sites to look at besides the obvious

I have created a content drive on my server - had to use drive M as i use Q on other things.
I have installed the client on to my workstation to test but it has created a Q drive - i know there is somewhere you can change the drive letter - but can't remember any ideas?

Control Panel -> Admin Tools -> App-V Client MMC
Right click application the root and select properties. Change Drive Letter, under the File System tab.
That will require a reboot.

One other question - do you have to sequence on the type of machine that you wil be deploying to - or is it best to dequence just on a virtual and snapshot it back?
Have you had experience of any apps not working?

No, you don't have to sequence on an identical machine. We use a standard, non domain joined virtual pc image to sequence apps.

Thanks - got first app working - the default one, but it works.
Any tips on doing office?
