Does the logmein.net use a client application on the remote server that you connect to? I can't access their site here since it's blocked by RMs filter.

*logmein.com in the allowed list fixes this (for me anyway - SWGfL).

BTW that one more vote for Log Me In.

I use the free version here of logmein on all of my servers apart from one. Which I purchased one licence of the pro version. This lets me copy documents to and from the servers and also maps my local printer to the server.

It's insecure, and susceptible to man-in-the-middle attacks. As far as I'm aware, anyway.

I am with VirginMedia and I my IP Does not tend to change unless they do some major maintenance*which has been pretty regular lately* and then I do get a different IP but apart from then it is pretty static.

But if you would like to guarantee you always have connection something along the lines of LogMeIn would do you just fine so another vote for that.

I usually manage ours via VPN, but also have used logmein in the past for my work PC and servers.
