Is there anybody out there that knows of a company that will come collect about 25 CRTs and about 15 PCs and dispose of in the correct manner (weeeeeeeeeeeee)?
If there is nobody for free, can people recommend a company please?
Thanks in advance...

In the incorrect manner - put the old PCs in the boxes of new equipment, label "Please do not steal", place outside. Problem solved.![]()

I like FREE![]()
I've got a store room full of about 30 to 40 iMac G3's. Any interest?
Thanks for the recommendation, Sippo - I have just organised our annual collection with them.
Organising our annual collection with them as well. Cheers Sippo![]()
Don't know yet - the collection is booked for the summer break...
Anotherfor DNA as well. Used them twice now; they don't pick and choose just shove it in a big pile and they will take the lot. The only thing they don't take is broken (as in smashed) CRT Monitors.
Apparently all those black Dell 15" CRT Monitors get shipped out to India; they can't get enough of them.
Pete
DNA were great for our collection booked for the half term. As FragglePete says they just piled everything we wanted to get rid of into a van. Got the certificate of destruction sitting here![]()
Got this emailed through a while ago...

Disposal of Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment – The WEEE Regulations
If you bought equipment before 13 August 2005, and are going to replace it with new equipment
then the producer of the new equipment is responsible for the collection, treatment and recycling of
the old equipment, regardless of whether they were the original manufacturer.
If you bought the equipment before 13 August 2005 and are not replacing it, then you are
responsible for financing and arranging treatment in accordance with the WEEE regulations and
existing waste management legislation.
If you bought the equipment after 13 August 2005, then the producer of the equipment is
responsible for its collection, treatment and recycling when you eventually dispose of it, regardless of
whether it is being replaced or not.
