I am looking to something exactly like this. Could you provide me with some guidance of how to set this up. I made a vb program, but I would love it to be on a website.

Could you not just use a custom MMC and Delegate AD permissions to these members of staff, to allow them to create users and reset passwords etc?

    @ itschad

no expensive compared to the pain it takes away!

    @ chris jones

you could, but this is done via a web page accessible to all staff.

so no setup time involved for each pc for each staff member.

it also creates the whole user package (home area etc.), not just the user object in AD

it also send me an email so that i know what is happening with users, (and who did it) in the school even when i am not there.

Quote that saw today that applies in your case.

Horstmanís 11th Law, "Average people will not live up to great systems, and great people can overcome the worst of systems.

Sounds like you got good people which means you are halfway to winning. Lot of good suggestions so far.

I would also look at how work is time tabled in do you do just repair work through term time and major work through hols.

How much major work is done through hols maybe set sites lower so that got spare time to catch up on repair wok.
