There is a free access based tool called SomeHelp which works well for us.
I only use it myself to keep track of jobs, it has a usefull screen where all open jobes are displayed with the number of days they have been open
Have just installed and had a little play with SomeHelp. It looks ok for what i need. Is there anyway to remove some of the fields though?
I don't need some like external ref number and contact Md?

4th March 2009, 04:09 PM #17 We don’t log anything. I often use tasks in outlook but that’s more a reminder to do jobs then a log and I only put jobs in there I am likely to forget.

4th March 2009, 07:15 PM #18 We use Kayako here and it didn't take much training or persuading staff to log jobs on it. We only have one or two now that don't use it..... but they will in time.
