    Simon, I've replied to you via email. I brought this up without realizing the school proxy would interfere - now it's my job to make this work. I'm going to ship you an IP camera that works with HomeCamera and has no issues with the proxy (you won't need to mess with NAT etc) and I'm going to do this at our expense. This should do the job for you. My apologies for the inconvenience caused.

    Warm regards from Singapore,

    - Varun.

    Thanks for your kind offer but I don't have any projects coming up in the near future.

    The original poster SteveLaw may be interested in your offer - I suggest sending him a pm

    @varun

    One of my schools suddenly decided to get some eggs in and they arrive in 4 weeks

    If your kind offer is still valid - I'd love to try out your ip camera and see if it can defeat the firewall

    regards

    Yawcam seems too good to be true

    It does the FTPing

    Saves images locally at an independant rate from FTP so I can have images saved every 1 or 2 secs locally and FTP up every 10 secs

    (I normally turn key image sequences, like first hatching, into flash movies - so it will be very nice to get a better frame rate )

    And it does local streaming so classes around the school can look in live during the day

    (Used to achieve this by using the old netmeeting prog (still available in XP) but it meant cutting the external FTP feed - now I can do both (fingers crossed! )

    As long as it doesn't crash - it seems to do everything I want (Except external video streaming but if that IP camera thingy arrives and works... )

    regards

    Simon
