Our school is going to France and they would like to have an on-line blog so while they are away the teachers can write a diary for the parents and those at home.
Has anyone any ideas how this could be done? perhaps a temporary blog or something.

At my old school the rugby lads went on tour and the PE teachers did a blog on blogspot - The MFG Under 15 Rugby Tour to South Africa
I didn't look at creating one but they seemed to manage ok and weren't too techie!
Does your school have any of its own webhosting where you can put what you like? if so what are some details? php?
If you have access to a server with php+mysql i would wordpress (multiple accounts to one blog) or wordpress mu (multiple users either posting to the same blog or separate blogs)
or set up wordpress on wordpress.com, and have them host it...
We are ready to launch wordpress mu for our media studies students. Everything was relatively simple to setup.
I've just set up a wordpress blog hosted by wordpress for our pupils. May move it over to our website hosts or just leave it with the free host. I've set the pupils up with a logon that they can post but it needs to be authorised before it's published.
