How To Open An ENC File

Hi All,

Was just wondering if anyone could give me a heads up on how to open an ENC file?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hmm thats kinda tricky, .enc is a generic extension for encoded files such as encoded pdf or flash objects so...kinda difficult to know without knowing what it is.

I think maybe stuffit can open them up?

I will try stuffit and see whether I can open the file up.

I think it is a flash object, its a module I have been given and part of it is to create a program to sniff the ENC file.

First step should always be throw it into a text/hex editor and see what you make of the header. Most will give something away about the true filetype within the first chunk of bytes. Compare if necessary to other known filetypes on your system you think it might be...
