Hi guys,
Is there any way of tracking what a computer does and when during startup? Like a real-time view when windows starts?
Thing is, my laptop takes forever to boot up and I want to know what's going on. I've tried disabling start up options in msconfig but still can't pin it down. I was hoping, if I could see what was happening in real-time on my screen, I could find out what it was doing.
Thanks.

27th November 2008, 08:03 AM #3 use event viewer to see if there are any errors in loading ? Check services to see if there are any un necesary services starting up with windows by either using msconfig ( services tab ) or going into services.msc.
Also starting up with safemode and see if it hangs on anything ?
Presume you have latest drivers installed for motherboard ie chipset drivers, etc.

Thanks, Chris.
I've managed to track down some problems and remove them.
My laptop boots much quicker now.
Definitely recommend this program
