    MS Access: listbox selection data to label caption

    I need to be able to change the contents of a label based on what is selected in a list box. Here's what I have so far:

    Code:
    Private Sub List5_AfterUpdate()
        label_pupilname.Caption = List5.SOMETHING
    End Sub
    How do I get a particular field from the list box?

    Cheers.

    Cheers for the reply. That's what I attempted initially, but then had to incorporate it into an sql call as the value returned was the id.
