    USB Hotwire !!!!!!

    Nice pupil comes into office with a plainly broken pen drive. Only problem is that all of his course work is on it and nowhere else.

    Little bit of cable and solder did the trick.

    Lol... nice!!

    I had a student who believed that a USB drive is better then our network, explained we have a RAID SCSI SAN which is backed up daily to tape (autoloader) and is then took offsite weekly and we keep each month tape (which is rare (in most places), but REALLY helps)

    Still never sinks in.

    Also tried explaining about backups before but these are students and teachers were talking about here these things don't register.
