Hi,

I am messing with this as I want to upgrade a server to 2008 but its failed a few time and now its saying it will take 3 days to complete, 2 drives totalling about 150Gb.

I guess I should really just wipe the drives of all the crap but can anyone give me some tips on getting this working. I am doing it to a remote drive but could dump a drive in the server if thats quicker.

We'd had similar issues in the past. By remote drive do you mean over the network? We've always got the best results from copying to a local drive, and it should be considerably faster too.

Woke up this morning and it was done... bloody liars. I guess they use the M$ timings.
