I'm going to be brief...
We have purchased both the Novell and Windows versions of PCounter. Our network runs on Netware 6.5.
Our printers run either through their built in NIC (Typically HP JetDirect but also some network copiers) or through ancient Intel / Netgear print servers.
Can PCounter help us at all in the current setup or do we need to change something?

Set all the print cues up on a server with the pcounter software on it and then share the printers out from there.
There is a script on the wiki for autoselection of the right printer based upon the name of the client machine
That makes sense - So basically the server has the printer setup on it and then it pushes it out to the clients? How would drivers be installed for the various printers on the server side?
Sorry for the late and out of the blue response but my boss is keen to get this going for 2009 and guess who is in charge of the project! (At least they found some dosh to send me on a bit of training)
If it works with eDirectory, does it have to be on the main server or can a new Novell server be created and dedicated to it? (Would be useful as we have VMWare so a new virtual server is simple and would keep things tidier.
