Default reset local gpo

IS there a way to completely reset a local machine GPO settings. Someone before me has locked down computers using their own local GPO settings, and now that I have introduced GPO from AD, the local settings, such as disabling task manager etc are still being applied. Its a PITA to manually unset them all

On a mac at the moment but I think you just need to delete the group policy folder on the machines, may be a hidden folder.

Normally found in \windows\system32\

Folder is called gpedit or group policy, someone here will confirm.Just delete and reboot.
