Does anyone know how to specify a theme using GPO on a CC3 network?
I've seen the Zune theme and was wondering how easy this would be to roll out if we decide to.

Microsoft Corporation
the theme will need to be present on each local machine

Well, it kind of worked. Here's what I did:
1) Added the MSI provided by M$ to the package area
2) Installed it on machine via MSI
3) Changed GPO settings to tell it to use new theme
4) Logged on as test pupil
Here's what happened:
Display properties box came up with Zune theme automatically selected but with the option for OK or cancel for the user. If I clicked ok, it changes the theme for user but also for the computer.
When I restarted the machine it still had Zune theme running. If I then log in with a user that doesn't have the theme assigned, it uses the default (as it should), but as soon as they log out the theme returns to Zune (for things like the log on box and background image).
All I want is to change the theme for certain users without giving them the choice to OK or cancel it.

you may have to change the msi to one which doesn't allow for any user interaction, look at winstall le for that.
As for the login box theme, you may have to just live with that, as I'm pretty sure it holds the last logged on theme - but I may be wrong
