Windows Deployment Services (WDS) Image Error
After 2 days of setting up WDS I can now capture & deploy XP images. But i think there is a problem with my unattend.xml file.
I have copied and modified the .xml file from Here.
When I deploy an image, windows comes up with the error
"Windows could not start because of a computer disk hardware configuration problem.
Could not read from the selected boot disk. Check boot path and disk hardware.
Please check the Windows documentation about hardware disk configuration and your hardware reference manuals for additional information. "
Which doesn't actually mean much. Here's the MS Support page. Error message: "Windows could not start because of a computer disk hardware configuration problem"
I've got a feeling that it's something to do with the partition setup within my .xml file. Does anyone know what should be defined in the XML ?
Hope that makes sense...!

A bit late an answer but there's no harm in it;
The microsoft article is spot-on about the problem cause;
I had the same problem with my images.
modifying boot.ini ( by starting Hirens boot CD and going into the "Mini Windows XP")solved the problem, it pointed to partition 2 whereas the was only 1 so after fixing this my images started just fine again.
Hope this helps!
