open program 800x600

Hi,

I need to open a program in 800x600 resolution. the current screen resolution is 1024x768.

any help much appreciated

use a batch file and quickres or Qres from the above post

quickres 800x600
run program
quickres 1024x768

not the right command syntax but you get the idea, when the program is exited it will run the next command in the list to set the resolution back again.

On XP atleast you can also do this in program compatibility on the properties of the exe or the shortcut.

can only set to 640x480 even then it dosent always go back to the default resolution
