Configuring Openfire - Asterisk IM

Hi Guys,

I have been trying to resolve this problem for quite sometime now with no luck and will be really greatful if someone could help me solve it or atleast give some suggestions that I can try as I have run out of my options.

I have Asterisk server running and I am trying to configure openfire (with Asterisk-IM) so that I could send Instant Messages from one SIP Softphone to another. I have installed openfire and it connects fine with the Asterisk server as I am able to see astersk server status as green or active.

I have tried connecting spark softphone and that works fine too and I can see a user getting active in User Summary page.

PROBLEM is when I register SIP softphone with Asterisk the user status in openfire does not get updated i.e. user status in User Summary is still gray. I have done Phone Mappings in Asterisk-Im page (screen shot attached).

And when I make a call I get debug message saying "Could not find device/jid mapping for device 'SIP/902': returning null".

I am attaching all the screenshots possible and hope to hear back from you.
