Alternatives to the OSShare Project or Youtube?

I want to create a similar educational video site like Youtube that we can use in school. I have found OSShare Project which is free but I was wondering if there were alternatives people have used?

    We're using PHPMotion here
Took a few attempts to get it working but we got there..

Got it on my home server too but running into problems getting audio to work on 3gp files. keep getting an error relating to libamr_nb and libamr_wb for ffmpeg..

Also have a look at wildern.tv ... the guys down there have funding to see if they could set this sort of thing up as a project and it has gone very well so far.

    Hello Paul,
I am one of the developer of OSShare Project . OSShare is just version 1. We like to hear more comments from users and make it better. Let me know your expecting feature in OSShare.
