First off let's all laugh at the fact I'm using MS VM2007 rather than VMWare.



Right, now that we've got that out the system can anybody tell me if it is possible to install the VM Additions for Ubuntu?

no, becuase thats for windows guests.

There are VM Additions for Linux (RH & SUSE only) that you can adapt I believe to work with Ubuntu... now... to find the link!

my mistake, I only briefly looked at VM2007 and decided it was a steaming pile of s*it and xen was better

@Diello: I found the link to MS for this download. But I haven't yet found anything to say that you can convert it or something similar.
