    OneLAN

    Hi,

Our VLE obviously has password protection. The thing is we want to be able to display VLE pages on our OneLAN box. Does anyone know of a way to do this because at the minute we just get a blank screen because the OneLAN cannot authenticate with the VLE.

Just mean when we add a html page to display can we type something like (and I know it won't be this simple):

    http://vle.kerrymoralee.com/wewantto...ythispage.html USER:user PASS: password

    Hi

I have not tried to show protected VLE pages before only public ones. I will have a dabble for you though.

Also, have you heard there is a major update coming soon which will take it to Version 6. It looks good, but I was told that because i am on NTB115 I would get charged £416 to get it done (due to hardware upgrade etc). I went beserk and contacted my supplier who is working on getting it done cheaper (if not free).

    Cheers

How good is OneLAN? I'm currently looking into digital signage solutions for the school, could have up to 9 screens!! At the moment i'm really liking the Samsung Solution.

We are a reseller for Onelan and samsung. In my opinion the onelan system is far better than the samsung system and works out to be about the same price as you can buy consumer LCD's

It's pretty expensive stuff but as kmount said OneLAN rocks.

I realise version 6 is being released, but we haven't bought yet - we've just got a loan box. The reseller said that by the time we buy version 6 will be installed as standard.

I don't know how it will look but I heard they were adding transitions and stuff like that.

We got our's off our local United Carlton. Not sure whether theres a supplier in your area. It's only for a couple of weeks but it has given us a brilliant insight into what they can do and surprisingly how easy they are to use.

Anyways, back to post in hand - anyone got any solutions?

@Domino: I'm not sure - Our manager is in the middle of contacting ITSS to find this out - but they seem to have a lot on at the minute so we are getting a slow reply.

If this is not possible is there a way to do it on OneLAN?

Hi, I have a bit of go and I dont think its currently possible under this current software version (5.2.2). Hopefully it will allow this in future upgrades.

OneLan is an awesome product and having had a preview of version 6xx I can only say there are more great features being added.

We just purchased the OneLan digital signage solution after a great deal of research and currently use it to deliver content to all 11 plasmas.
