Need to get a video file to play on a dvd player.
The software we have does not work, its a pinnacle studio 8, and its trying to write the image across the network to my documents folder. And you would think there would be an option to change the location of where the files are kept. But no. So it just sits there and hangs.
arghhh, so any free software that you use to create the dvd image / burn the dvd would be a lot of help.

they do a free educational license for version 6 (not 7). decent software, but they will spam you into oblivian so use your headmasters address when you sign up for the license key.

Found that to be quite good. Always gotta start it up in 'start smart'. You can change where it sticks the image too.
The reason it hangs is probably due to a space issue... but you probably allready knew that!

5th March 2008, 03:15 PM #8 I've used some software called convertXtoDVD, it converts .avi files to DVD format and burns them for you. Not free though.
