Default Administrators Nasty File Search errors.

I have been trying out today Administrators Nasty File Search but keep getting regular errors. 'Run time 53 & Run time 75'

ANy ideas.

It seems to work first on my search selection but i do not choose delte files until i have checked the log. When i have checked the log to make sure there is nothing untoward i then run the scan with the delete files option ticked, then on the second rescan it comes up with the erros.

I have tied this installed on 2 differnet machines and still get the errors.

Am i doing somthing wrong.?

I'm not sure about NFS but my script threw up errors if the permissions/ownership of files wasn't quite right.

You could try sticking the script in your logoff script - particularly effective at annoying kids if you use it verbosely to display all those MP3s they've downloaded as they log off

The script will happily run as is - you should be able to see the array that lists the file types.

I recommend that you learn a little VBScript cos it's super handy. Check out the Script Centre on www.technet.com for some tutorials and resources.

ICTNut's app is based on the idea of the script but provides a GUI.
