On our admin machines, we have outlook 2003, running through exchange server. Dont have any problems with it, but this one. Which is totally warping my brain.
A member of our SMT is away for a few weeks at the moment, and wants their email forwarded to their home address (which is an aol address).
So, naturally enough I set up exchange to auto forward their mail.
Thing is, the forwarded mails arent actually arriving. I receive no message about sending failure (at least not as yet). So, I tried forwarding their mails manually from my machine, still havent arrived.
Yet....if I forward them from their work machine, it arrives every time.
Tried a couple of other machines, and again they dont arrive.
For some strange reason, I can only forward the emails to their home aol address successfully from their own work machine. Now, I could just pootle into their office a few times a day and forward their mail. But thats frankly too time consuming. Any ideas why it wont forward from my machine or direct via the server??
I checked the server logs, and the mail "seems" to be going, but never arrives.

No, nothing at all. Whats weird is that I can send the same mails from their work machine and it always goes through.

Have you got a reverse NS setup for your domain. Aol requires this because it checks this before accepting message, its right pain in the butt.
You ISP should be able to setup reverse DNS for you.

Ashok.
