Browse Large Photo Collection

I need to put some order to all of the image files that may be lurking on our public share so I can find some good pictures for the website.

I installed and tried Photomesa3 but it just kills it trying to catalogue and thumbnail a huge shared drive.

Web album generator doesn't explore sub directories recursively.

At the moment I don't want a full on document management system allthough that is the direction I would like to move the storage of shared information.

Any ideas?

You just trying to view the files at the moment ben? Could try picasa to scan the folders and browse the files.
