There are a range of viewers available.
You get what you pay for, the cheapest (free) are a mixed bunch with mixed results.
The above viewer works really well, its in german but you should be able to follow it.

Our print server is Linux based. It natively talks post script, thus that's what the spools files are in. So it's fairly easy to tell it to keep a copy of printouts that's easily viewable if required.

@ICT_GUY: Thanks, did come see this splviewer before but didnt really look at it too close. Had a closer look and does the trick for now, even if its in german
