How do you do....it? Thread, Servicedesk Plus in Technical; Has anyone managed to get pass-through authentication to work? I've imported users and can log in on the welcome screen ...

    Servicedesk Plus

    Has anyone managed to get pass-through authentication to work? I've imported users and can log in on the welcome screen no problems but when i put pass through authentication on it comes up with a prompt for login details and i put the same details in and it won't allow me assess. Click cancel and it goes to the welcome screen and allows log on no problems.

    Anyone had the same issue? I've trolled the support forums and followed all advice an nowhere closer to getting it fixed!

    I contacted manageengine support about this. The only thing that I could put it down to was that we are using Kerberos authentication on our network. When I asked this if it was compatible with Kerberos, their reply was that it only works with ntlm authentication!

    In general, the seem very slow to the uptake of changes in technology. However, as they have a load of products that integrate with one another, I guess it's a slow process to upgrade all the products quickly, without breaking anything in the mean time!
