thats what i get when i open an internet box on the server and type in http://(servername)/classroombookings/
no sorry imageshack is blocked here![]()
got it to work on the server now thank you it was my fault totally i forgot i had taken the wamp server offline to do work and didnt put it back online although this only works for the server at the min still no access to this from any other machine.
What are you typing from your remote machines? Do you have WAMP running on a different port if you have IIS already using port 80?

i have got one step closerthank you for all your help so far. I now def have the wamp server live and i have also changed the config file to now say http://(servername)/classroombookings/ but when i move to another machine and test this i get

i dont have ISS installed on the server only the WAMPSERVER 2.0i when i do the apache test port 80 it brings up your port 80 is actually used by:

Have you bypassed proxy for local addresses, if you have a proxy in place?
we have a proxy in place here its run by c2k but i know the proxy to use how would i bypass this?
sorry i jsut checked my connections to make sure i had set bypass proxy server for local addresses and it is ticked
but we do use a proxy server which uses a different port number than port 80
