Don't click the icon link for week dates (something I forgot to take out). You just set the week dates in the main week add/edit page

11th January 2010, 05:32 PM #154 Whenever a member of staff books a room for a furture date, it books the room on the day we're on.
e.g. if we're on Monday 11th January period 1, and try to book for Thursday 14th period 4, it will book in the Monday 11th January Period 4 and not on the Thursday.
administrators can change the date but staff can't
How do resolve this problem as it happens for every member of staff and administrator?

Is this with Classroombookings? If so, you need to change the Booking display type (School Details page) to 'One day at a time'. There is a bug in the other option, which gives the behaviour you described above.

24th February 2010, 03:54 PM #157 Hi there,
Just set this up for our school as MRBS was causing us issues, it works well, however i have one question:
Can the Bookings page be made to be viewable by people not logged in, so then they caa see if a room is free before they log in?
Cheers
Rob

Classroombookings? Short answer is 'no' for the current (1.0) version; but that will be included in the new version.

Just got this installed today and it is 100% what I've been looking for! Any news on v2? Thanks again!

Just out of interest, will V2 tie into AD? We are looking at starting to movw to 2008 R1 & R2 over the summer, but our current bookng system Devizes which works really well on our 2003 servers will not work on the Server 2008 R1 or R2 x64 at all.
Thanks
Tim

It will authenticate via AD/LDAP by looking up the supplied username & password. If that's your definition of "tie", then yes. But it doesn't automatically pull in the user via the "integrated windows authentication" feature of IIS.

Hopefully within the next 6 months. I've not tested it with Server 2008 yet but it's on the cards.
