Scan to folders from follow me MFD's

Looking for best practice ideas as to setting up scan to folders for staff and pupils. We run a flavour of TASKalfa devices with embedded papercut on a CC4 network. My idea was to scan to departmental folders for staff and one folder for pupils to scan to. we hoped that there would be a way that users would enter their AD credentials to access a device and that there would be a way of auto scanning to their home folder.

Also wondering if anyone has set up an address book on one of their devices and managed to export the address book to removable memory and successfully been able to import to a similar device?

Any tips and suggestions most welcome!

Whilst this won't help you too much we use Konica Minolta devices and their Docupro software, users log in with their AD credentials and can scan to home folder so it is doable.

It might be worth looking at Kyoceras own dedicated scanning app, this can offer SSO with the papercut app and may offer you extra scanning features.
