Physical Server Backup - D2D2T not using Backup Exec - Any ideas?

    Hi

We currently have a D2D2T backup using backup exec 2010. The software is not great in my view. Are there any alternatives? What do you use?

I like how Veeam merges the differential backups into one so when you look at a date you still get all the files showing even ones that were not edited on that day.

Just seem to be endless problems with backup exec :P

    Cheers

Hi there,We used to have no end of issues with Backupexec, both 11 and 2010r3 (currently using) i found that simply restarting the server once a week solved the majority of issues we had. What problems are you having?

We used to use Veeam for D2D, and then Backup Exec for D2T. Now that Veaam Backup and Replication 7 support tape drives/libraries we've ditched Backup Exec and are using Veeam for the whole thing. So much simpler and Veeam support are very quick and helpful

I thought that Veeam now supported D2D2T.
