    Replacement for Yahoo WebPlayer

With the retirement of Yahoo Media player, we need to find a replacement for the nifty embedding of media in websites. How do you embed media or do you just link to it in an <iframe>?

Most of our stuff are uploaded to YouTube and use the embedded link from that. Otherwise they are locally stored and embedded.

We've moved to MediaElement.js which works swimmingly. The cloud version of LongTail Video isn't bad you'll need to pay for skins.

MediaElement looks good, however the beauty of the Yahoo Media player is it's ability to autodetect linked media and create a playlist. Have you found (or written) a way to do that along with MediaElement?

    Thanks!

No, I couldn't emulate what Yahoo Media Player did. I'm not that good a programmer.
