    Circa 2000/2001? There's really no reason not to upgrade linux versions - but with Windows/IIS updates are dictated by one company who may or may not release a patch and may or may not decide to support it after 5 yars. For some reason this is turning into a Linux vs. Windows thread :?

    Yes, it was a few years ago now - forgot to mention that! Blame intrigue for kicking off the MS / *nix argument. Some people have no thread discipline
    All he needs to do is mention Apple and he's covered pretty much every major IT schism there is.

    yeah but no but yeah but no it wastn't me right?
    it was tracy in the back of the class with her sister who apparently is having a baby with my brothers sisters dad who actually went to prison and i aint talking like a naughty kids home but thats where i saw jason who was smoking some fag init.

    Nothing so high-powered Geoff, I'm afraid. I was setting up an email server and was called away about something else (as one is). When I got back the box had been hacked. syslog showed that they'd tried downloading a few things but ended up locking the whole thing up. Well worthwhile...
