    movie capture software

One of our teachers put together a movie for open evening using 'mySlideshow gold'. Not a bad effort I have to admit.

However, the Head Teacher would like to include it in a powerpoint, but the only file available is a .exe.

Anyone know of a decent free piece of software that will capture the move, including sound in a format that can easily be used in powerpoint automatically without having to click on the original movies menu.

    Re: movie capture software

You could try screen-capturing it with something like CamStudio.

Have a look at loading the .exe up in something like ResourceHacker and see if the movie is embedded and extractable...
