software Audit

I'm looking for software that will help me carry out a software aduit on all the computers in the school. Preferably it must be free. ooow and its a microsoft network not a linux

we are starting to use IBM director - not for auditing but for image deployments, running remote scripts etc. it also does hardware/software inventory. It's still early days for us at the moment but it looks good so far

OCS is free and rather good.
