    Student difficulty reading from screen

    Hi all,
We have a student who has struggled with reading for some time because of the way she perceives letters and the fact that they move around on the page on the screen, she has a colour overlay to put on the monitor, but with the different sizes of monitors, and also ease of use we were wondering if anything could be done in gpo for this user, we remember that in office 2003 you could have 'blue background, white text' to make it easier for her to see it, but in 2007 / 2010 we are unable to find this option.

    Does anyone have any ideas?
    Thanks

This might sound odd, but I have seen it in practice. People with dyslexia etc wearing blue glasses when they use computers, apparently it helps with projector screens to.

Do you mean the "page" background? If so I think it's in Page Layout>Page Colour in 2010 and definitely in Design>Page Colour in 2013.

Would this be any good as an alternative?
Open Dyslexic font coupled with: Using GPOs to change default font in Office 2010/2013

OpenDyslexic is a new open sourced font created to increase readability for readers with dyslexia. The typeface includes regular, bold, italic, and bold-italic styles. It is being updated continually and improved based on input from dyslexic users. There are no restrictions on using OpenDyslexic outside of attribution.

you should be able to put the PC in high contrast mode if it helps. Any user can do it on any PC even before login.

    win+u

you could make a profile with bigger fonts etc. and assign via active directory
